- Enterprise ETL tools make integration too expensive to be feasible for smaller companies, requiring a different approach to ETL
- Rather than leaving the task of data integration solely up to the customer, embedded ETL tools make providing ETL the responsibility of the software vendor while giving the customer control over the process — making integration cheaper, and on-boarding new customers faster.
