In translation, OpenAI GPT-3 has been shown to perform on par with state-of-the-art machine translation systems (Brown et al., (2020)).
It only requires a few translation examples for GPT-3 to learn how to translate reasonably well. It is a suitable alternative to standard machine translation systems…
