Twitter is a rich source for information. From minute-to-minute trends to general discussions around topics, Twitter is a great source of data for a project. Also, Twitter has built an amazing API for developers to use this data. Could we track an event and see what people are thinking? Is it possible to run sentiment analysis on what the world is thinking as an event unfolds over time? Could we track Twitter data and see if it correlates to news that affects stock market movements? These were some of the questions in my mind as I began to dig into Twitter data…
