How I used Statistics to improve my Dublin Bikes transit

As a user of Dublin Bikes I was delighted to discover that real time bike data was freely available online via the Irish national open data project. Not only that, but one user had already collected months of data and shared it online. Dublin Bikes are a fantastic way to get around the city but, like many city bike schemes, they often struggle with the challenges of long waiting times at full/empty stations. Working in the busy business district, it is not uncommon to find yourself waiting for 10 minutes or more if you are unfortunate in your timing.
