Worldometer is an amazing website run by engineers and researchers with the goal of providing live world statistics for everyone to see.

Recently, they added a new component to their website, specifically for the Novel Coronavirus. It’s an amazing dashboard-like website that provides live statistics, Data visualizations, and updates on the coronavirus!

Below are some tips to help guide you in finding what I believe are the most interesting parts of the website.

Confirmed Cases and Deaths by Country

If you click on the link above and scroll down a little, you can find the number of cases, new cases, deaths, new deaths, active cases, and recovered cases by country. This is updated every day and may be of interest to you if you want to see how the virus is spreading globally.

Latest Updates

If you scroll down a bit further, you can see a live feed of updates, which provides alerts of new cases and deaths, as well as new travel warnings. This may be of interest to you if you or someone close to you is travelling some time soon.

Details on Cases

If you want to learn more about the cases, like the number of daily new cases, the growth factor, or the case distribution outside of China, click on ‘Cases’ in the navigation bar or click here.

Similar to the ‘Cases’ if you want to learn more about the details of the deaths, click on ‘Deaths’ in the navigation bar or click here.
